WHAT TUNESHARE IS:
TUNESHARE is a curated community built around one simple idea: artists support artists. Members earn playlist capacity through genuine listening — not by paying and not by gaming the system.
An invited artist joins as a Member, shown publicly as a VISITOR. Complete one full Monday–Sunday week with at least 50 Weekly TAP to become a STAR. STAR status is permanent, while active status and track capacity are recalculated from each completed week.
TAP stands for TUNESHARE ACTIVITY POINTS. TUNESHARE reads scrobbles reported by Last.fm. Last.fm normally scrobbles a track after half of it has played or after four minutes, whichever comes first. A scrobble can earn TAP only when it matches exactly one published, registered TUNESHARE track and the track is not your own.
Listening to another member’s eligible track can earn 1 TAP, up to five awarded plays of the same track per day. Listening to your own tracks never earns TAP.
Your finalized Weekly TAP sets your track capacity for the following week. For example, 50–99 Weekly TAP gives a capacity of one track, while 200–299 Weekly TAP gives a capacity of three tracks.
If your capacity falls below the number of your currently placed tracks, TUNESHARE creates removal tasks for the administrator. The corresponding Spotify playlists and TUNESHARE records are updated after those tasks are completed manually. Your Lifetime TAP and permanent STAR status are not removed, and you can earn capacity again in a later week.
Weekly TAP (TUNESHARE ACTIVITY POINTS) → Playlist Capacity
| WEEKLY TAP | MAXIMUM TRACK CAPACITY |
|---|---|
| 0–49 | 0 |
| 50–99 | 1 |
| 100–199 | 2 |
| 200–299 | 3 |
| 300–399 | 4 |
| 400–499 | 5 |
| 500–599 | 6 |
| 600–699 | 7 |
| 700–799 | 8 |
| 800–899 | 9 |
| 900+ | UNLIMITED (10+) |
At 900+ finalized Weekly TAP, track capacity is unlimited: 10+ means there is no upper track limit. Capacity is set after the previous complete Monday–Sunday week is finalized. A later completed week below 900 returns you to the corresponding finite limit.
Formula: Finalized Weekly TAP from the previous Monday–Sunday week → track capacity for the current week.
OUR SOUND:
TUNESHARE follows the artistic direction of the DADAMOOG {MOON UNIVERSE}: IDM, Experimental Electronic Music, Ambient, Downtempo, Synthwave, Synthpop, Cinematic Electronica, House/EDM, Techno/Glitch, and everything that sits comfortably alongside them.
HOW IT WORKS:
- Listen — Explore the official TUNESHARE PLAYLISTS and connect Spotify Scrobbling through Last.fm.
- Earn TAP — Eligible Last.fm scrobbles that match exactly one published, registered TUNESHARE track can earn TAP under the daily limits.
- Become a STAR — Complete one full Monday–Sunday week with at least 50 Weekly TAP.
- Request a track change — A STAR with the required capacity can submit an Add or Exchange request. A request is validated and queued for manual processing; it does not change Spotify immediately.
- Grow together — Build Lifetime TAP, support other artists and earn weekly capacity through genuine listening.
We’re intentionally curated. We’re not chasing size — we’re chasing the right fit.
A CLOSED, INVITATION-ONLY PLATFORM
TUNESHARE does not offer open registration. Artists are reviewed for musical fit before a private invitation may be issued. This keeps the community focused and the playlists coherent. An application does not guarantee an invitation.
